It's a lovely book, and you can have real fun copying the drawings. It's not the best book, however, if you want to seriously learn drawing. Still, I read it with a smile on my face.

I'm 72 now and somewhere in my early years I came across this delightful and easy book. It is a treasure that contains a method anyone can follow and feel satisfaction in their results thereby increasing confidence. I love it and would love to own it in my own library. To me, what makes it even more precious is the fact of its age, and that it was written in an age where things were simpler. My first encounter with this empowering simplicity came from 1915 Audel's series of tradesman's/craftsman's books. Many men learned from these as have art students from this.
